
Demi Lovato shared her past experience one being bullied during her school years which made her decide on being home-schooled. She was interviewed on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and she started with saying how she was bullied as a 7th grader and she wants to help other girls who are being bullied.
She told Ellen Degenere, “I never really understood why it was at the moment until looking back” when making a statement on how painful the bullying was during her school years. “I had a different lifestyle then everyone else. Whether it was the color of my hair or what ever the reason was, I pinned it to myself.”
Demi expressed her hopes of helping other girls who were dealing with the same issue she had dealt with, “I guess the way that I want to impact on girls as a……. role model-it’s not me making mistakes because I’m going to make mistakes but one day I want to help with bullying. Because there are a lot of girls who cant just up and home school and focus on their career.”
Listening to Demi’s exposure, Ellen said bullying is “Just so horrible. And somebody has to stop it. It goes on in schools for a lot of different reasons. That’s really ashame.”
Demi’s apperance on the show was to promote her song “Don’t Forget”. Also she didn’t just sit down for a interview, she did a live performance singing her hit single “Get Back”.
