@iluvbebo99 i do agree. but i think people expect her to be clean/ goody goody because she started off that way as a children’s star. if she would of been starting with this it would be a little more excepted and people wouldn’t have put her into the Good role model catagory. yes people might still be like “what a whore” like they do with people like lady gaga… but i think less parents would be freaking out

You are right about her father though, he probably should have been more firm with her when she was younger. you guys need to realize that miley is a person to. and as a star she just wants to get away from disney and grow into something bigger. the reason you think it’s awful and “slutty” of her is because she started off as a children’s/ disney girl. so you associate her with the whole “good girl/ clean” thing… if she started with this it would be more accepted by people bc she wouldn’t of been thought of as “disney goody two shoes” she would of been “edgy/ wild” from the start

Miley is growing up. She is NOT the same 14-year-old Disney pop star anymore. But she’s still only 17, and I really hope she knows that growing up does NOT mean becoming trashy, as lollypop123456 said. I think it is partially her parents’ fault for allowing this, but it’s also hers. Miley’s almost an adult, and she’s going to get more freedom, but this is definitely not appropriate for her right now.

@1yellowSUN I’m truly sorry you’re family is going through a rough patch. When my sister was in 7th she started treating my mother horribly, talked back, was never home, very disrespectful, it took her 5 years out of high school to realize how horrible she was and apologize. My mother has always been very supportive of her children, but my sister still acted out. Why? Because our dad left and my mom could barely afford to raise 3 girls, she was embarrassed.
